Inside Grand Tour star James May's jaw-dropping car collection – including a classic Rolls Royce and BMW EV | The Sun

James May's amazing and varied car collection, including a Rolls Royce and BMW EV, has been revealed.

The star of Amazon's The Grand Tour is famous for his love of motors, but it's not just big-engined supercars that he has a soft spot for.

While James enjoys driving fast cars, his fellow co-presenters Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson often label him as 'Captain Slow.'

In reality, Mr May is just as much a fan of super fast Ferraris as he is of electric cars, older classics and even the odd motorbike.

Here, we take a look at his eye-watering car collection.

Bentley T2

This car is well-known as the one James May reviewed on Top Gear during his first appearance.

The Bentley T2 was produced from 1977 to 1980 – and only 558 were made.

And, in 2022, there were just 15 Bentley T2s with an MOT left on UK roads.

BMW i3

The BMW i3's lifespan stretched from 2013 to 2022, and it was BMW's first mass-produced zero-emissions vehicle.

According to GT Junkies, the fully-electric supermini cost him £35,000 – and it could well end up being a future classic

James bought a Tesla Model S 100 to learn more about electric cars.

He told fans at the time: "I don’t know what the future of the car is, but I do believe one way or another they’re going to be powered by electric motors."

Ferrari 458 Italia

The Ferrari 458 Italia has garnered over 30 international awards since its launch in 2010.

The stunning supercar can reach 62mph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of over 200mph.

Rolls Royce Corniche

Celebrities like Elton John and Sir Paul McCartney have also owned a Rolls Royce Corniche – and it's a really classy-looking motor.

Lots of leather and walnut trim in the cabin give the Roller a real sense of occasion, while its V8 petrol engine supplies enough power to waft along in style.

This comes after the OnlyFans star flaunted an incredible car collection, including a dazzling £180,000 Porsche.
