Energy bills could be slashed with £3 Amazon savings hack to ‘keep house warm’
Experts are urging households to take advantage of a simple savings hack through Amazon which could reduce energy bills dramatically and only costs £3.
Families will be looking for ways to protect their homes from the cold weather by draught-proofing.
Failure to do so may result in people paying an excessive amount towards their energy bills this year.
Furthermore, draught-proofing prevents condensation which can sometimes lead to mould and, consequently, health issues.
However, experts are recommending a £3 item from Amazon which could keep homes warm this Christmas season.

Nancy Emery, a cleaning expert from Tap Warehouse, suggests households buy a £3.25 window insulation film from Amazon.
The item in question has a 3.6 rating out of a possible five stars from customers who bought the product.
It can be applied to areas which are most likely to become damp in cold conditions, such as bathrooms and windows.
As well as being a safeguard against mould, the insulation film is also useful in saving money when it comes to energy bills.

The cleaning expert spoke to The Daily Star about why this product is an essential purchase in the winter months.
She explained: “Window insulation film is a thin plastic film that is applied directly to any window to effectively reduce heat loss providing better insulation.
“The film can either be directly applied to a window using a hairdryer to shrink the film around the glass or can be attached to the window ledge to create a still air layer around half an inch thick using pressure sensitive tape,
“It can also help limit or prevent condensation, further reducing the risk of mould and mildew build-up.”

Ms Emery warned that families will need to make sure they buy the right size of film for the savings hack to be effective.
She added: “Doing this simple fix will not only help to keep your house warm, it will stop heat escaping through tiny draughts and that means less wasted energy and money on bills. Be sure to check the size of the film is correct for your window
“A lot of people will often ventilate their bathroom by opening windows. Whilst this is a quick and efficient method of doing so, heat can be lost incredibly quickly and can often be both difficult and slow to reheat during the winter months.”
